Job Summary:

This job role will be responsible for designing both government and commercial vessels all over the United States.

Duties:

Come up with a solution for a design by evaluating ship challenges.

Work with different teams to lead and support the development of the ship and design integration

Discuss design progress with customer

Execute Naval Architecture analyses

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture AND/OR Marine Engineering

Must have +3 years of experience

Degree in Naval Architecture AND/OR Marine Engineering

Must have experience in CFRs(USCG), ABS, ISO rules, RINA, Lloyds.

Must have experience in Marine structural design, preferably in multiple material types (steel, FRP, aluminum)

Experience in stability tests, weight estimates, and calculations is preferred

Experience with AutoHydro (or equivalent) is preferred

Must be proficient in Rhino 3D and AutoCAD and

Ship Constructor experience preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

General knowledge of ship systems is preferred

Marine electrical would be preferred but not a must
