Construction/Permitting Coordinator

* Candidate will need to understand Cable - Outside plant construction and day to day permitting operations.

* The Permitting Coordinator will work with the xNet project team.

* They will work with: West Palm & Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

* This candidate will need to understand construction permitting: aerial, UG (GPR) and MOT for Ft. Lauderdale and Miami areas.

* There will be a significant amount of permits needed for the xNet (fiber deep) project for these areas.

* Miami is nearly all aerial Alpine, with FTL requiring GPR with every UG construction permit.

* Candidate will track all permits, provide reporting, be the liaison between XNET and BUA Construction, and be responsible for delivering all permits related to the XNET project accurately and on-time.

* The xNet (Fiber Deep) project is major project in FL for Comcast.Be the P2 expert for the Team.

* Interact and communicate with both external and internal clients on a professional and confidential basis.

* Complete all items required to close out project and organize project post-job reviews to ensure that all permit documents are complete.

* Maintain meticulous progress tracking tools including databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based applications to keep up dated information on past performance and industry standards.

* Other tasks include preparing process flow diagrams, layout drawings, data sheets and technical job reports.

* Perform other duties as assigned.
