Coordinates and administers the operational activities associated with the Center for Labor Research and Studies. Maintains the operations of the department's programs, including admissions applications, enrolled-student records, curricular matters, and program marketing. Demonstrates broad decisions making authority, judgement and independence, and originates new concepts or approaches, policies and procedures, and directs their implementation.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of all academic and professional development programs to meet assessment, fiscal, enrollment, marketing, and recruitment goals and objectives.
- Supports admissions and awards processes for academic and non-academic programs. Coordinates administrative tasks including certificate validation, minor degree processing, and exit survey data collection.
- Provides academic advising and support to students who enroll in the undergraduate and graduate certificate programs.
- Develops and facilitates workshops, orientation, and informational sessions for current and incoming students. Coordinates and executes event logistics and special projects for the center.
- Coordinates communication and marketing strategies to promote program across various digital platforms. Monitors, collects, and reports all digital media analytics.
- Supports human resources-related tasks such as adjunct faculty recruitment and credentialing, as applicable
- Assists with class management tasks, including course scheduling, textbook adoption, and learning management system (LMS) coordination
- Coordinates internship program and acts as the official liaison to place students with community partners and/or faculty researchers.
- Supervises student assistants to ensure duties are completed in a timely manner and appropriate actions are performed and documented.
