Profitability Manager

Develop and execute financial strategies that maximize the company's profitability by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) trends and implementing business intelligence tools. Ensure efficient management of the sales budget and cost projections, aligning growth initiatives with portfolio strategy. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to convert complex data into actionable insights, presenting financial and operational reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

• Management of the short-term sales estimate (current year) and its impacts at the EBITDA level of the operation.
• In charge of analyzing the market share of the different countries and questioning the deviations against the previous year and the estimated budget.
• Management and preparation of the sales budget based on industry growth analysis, market share assumptions and initiatives to generate volume aligned with the portfolio strategy. Manage the correct price and cost projection in the budget, correct scheduling based on the critical sales moments of the year (seasonality).

Responsibilities

• Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, operating forecasts and modeling scenarios.
• Ad-hoc business performance reporting.
• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units.
• Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
• Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
• Support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analys

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration degree, Accounting or related areas
• At least 3 years of experience in position(s) where you developed your forecast, mix, rentability skills
• Fluent English
• Microsoft Office Advanced
• Experience with: Advance use of forecasting techniques including time series and linear regresions, Elasticity analisys, Database management and power query.
