Job Description
Support the HR function by handling administrative and transactional duties, as well as assisting with more strategic HR initiatives. Work across all areas of the organization. Job duties:
- Provide administrative and transactional support to the HR function while assisting with HR initiatives. Collaborate with internal HR teams and Costa Rica-based client groups across various areas of the organization.
- Handle associate inquiries, concerns, and employee relations issues; may assist with more complex matters with guidance from an HR Leader.
- Coordinate and support the associate offboarding process, including scheduling and preparing exit interviews, collecting feedback, and ensuring completion of necessary offboarding documentation and procedures.
- Assist in managing employee relations by responding to low-level concerns, documenting issues and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and employment laws.
- Ensure all employee records are accurately maintained and regularly updated, including personal information, physical and digital documentation.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Assist recruitment with internal and external candidate interviews for open positions.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or a related field of study.
- Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of HR experience, specializing in employee relations, conflict management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ability to securely hold confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed presentation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
Desired Qualifications
- Labor relations and conflict resolution training.
- Experience in analyzing HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with ERP, preferably with Workday.
- Customer service advocate for HR.
- Detail oriented.
