ANTECEDENTES Y PROPOSITO DE LA ASIGNACION:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) es el organismo de asistencia alimentaria más grande del Sistema de Naciones Unidad. El PMA contribuye a la lucha contra el hambre y la malnutrición en todas sus formas, alineado con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 2, también propone políticas, estrategias y operaciones que beneficien directamente a las personas en situación de inseguridad alimentaria y fomenten el desarrollo económico y social.
El propósito principal de este puesto es promocionar las prácticas seguras de manipulación de alimentos, la mejora de comportamientos, actitudes y prácticas de alimentación y nutrición en niños, niñas y comunidad escolar, a través del fortalecimiento de capacidades sobre buenas prácticas de higiene y manipulación de los alimentos, el valor nutritivo de los mismos, y a su vez supervisando la implementación de estos conocimientos para la mejora de la calidad de las dietas ofrecidas, promoviendo opciones más nutritivas como proteínas integrales fortificadas y de origen animal a la alimentación escolar.
RESPONSABILIDADES:
Bajo la supervisión y en estrecha coordinación del Gerente de Alimentación Escolar, la persona contratada estará a cargo de las siguientes responsabilidades:
CALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA:
Educación:
Educación secundaria completa. Título universitario en Nutrición, Seguridad Alimentaria, Nutricional y/o afines.
Experiencia:
Mínimo 5 años de experiencia profesional en el campo de la nutrición comunitaria y desarrollo de proyectos.
Experiencia previa en la gestión de proyectos sobre alimentación escolar, nutrición, cambios de comportamiento (SBC) y alimentación con enfoque de género.
Conocimientos y Habilidades:
Idiomas:
Excelente dominio escrito y hablado del español, deseable dominio a nivel laboral del idioma inglés.
