What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Treasury Accountant to assist with reconciliation of bank accounts across Latin America. The Treasury Accountant will work with our treasury management system (Kyriba), ERP (Oracle Fusion), and 3rd party bank statements to monitor cash positions and reconciliations daily.

You will:

  • Perform reconciliations of cash accounts, researches variances, and adjusts as needed.
  • Enter and review journal entries in company financial systems for LATAM subsidiaries as needed.
  • Interprets and analyzes financial reports for organization management.
  • Work closely with other Finance departments to resolve bank statement reconciliation issues.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • This position will report into the US Treasury team at SAS Headquarters.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Excel

    • The nice to haves

  • Knowledge of ERP and TMS systems. (Oracle and Kyriba are a plus).
  • Experience integrating new systems
  • Basic Foreign Exchange knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills and/or some programming knowledge

    • Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Be comfortable coaching others during global rollout of Kyriba and Oracle Fusion
  • Working knowledge of treasury, banking and cash management products
