What you'll do:
SAS Institute is pleased to announce the posting of a Global Academic Program Manager position, to be filled as soon as possible. The Global Academic Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and fostering relationships with higher education stakeholders (e.g. faculty members, students, administrators) to maximize the use of SAS software in teaching and learning in Mexico. The focus is on the adoption of SAS in curriculum to support development of SAS users of the future and connecting programs using SAS software to customers for employment.

The primary role of the Global Academic Program Manager is to build positive relationships with academic institutions. A key component of this is working with stakeholders to develop curricula and programs that teach SAS skills which align to our SAS customers’ hiring needs. Candidate must develop an understanding of SAS software and training offerings available to academic audiences, as well as company procedures and policies related to licensing in order to effectively build these relationships.
The development of these relationships allows the Program Manager to build a unique understanding of academic needs and use this knowledge to serve in a consultative capacity in the following ways:
