Function: Process and Continual Service Improvement Manager

Workplace:  Belgium (European Commission)

Description of tasks:

  • Manage the operational activities in accordance to the agreed commitments
  • Evaluate contract and project risks, identify and execute risk mitigation actions
  • Provide consolidated management reporting to the customer and steering committee on the services delivered
  • Plan and supervise the execution of quality reviews
  • Play a key role in add-on sales with Sales & Delivery Management team
  • Provide guidance and direction to Service Managers who will assist with day-to-day process support activities.
  • Audit the process periodically to ensure compliance to policy and standards.
  • Function as the primary point of escalation for day-to-day process operations.
  •  Identify skill gaps and opportunities to strengthen the capabilities of the global team and provide relevant process training as needed.
  • In partnership with Service Delivery Managers, ensure support teams are operating in adherence with all ITSM Processes and with associated contractual Service Level Agreements.
  • Technical Requirements :

  • At least 5 years working experience as Service Delivery Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Service Management (ITIL), ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • Good knowledge of Business Object
  • You are fluent in English and French (verbal and written)
  • A successful experience in People Management
  • Behavioral profile:

  • Analytical and you have a systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Punctual, meticulous and reliable
  • Ability to work in a large and matrixed corporate environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical actions to a non-technical audience.
