Job Summary:

Our marketing team is expanding. To scale our efforts, we need help with the tasks that are required to execute email marketing campaigns across our solutions portfolio.

The Email Marketing Specialist is going to be the go-to person for our internal and external email campaigns. You will be responsible for producing engaging and effective email programs that convert.

In this role, you will also collaborate with different departments on the creation and release of a variety of simultaneously running campaigns and orchestrate all operational and tactical email marketing activities to align with the Marketing team’s annual goals.

Additionally, you will create, manage, and execute our email marketing plan to support awareness-building, lead generation, nurturing, and bottom-line results across our target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage results-oriented email marketing programs for lead generation and lead nurturing within our solutions portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g. marketing managers, solutions SMEs, creative team, and writers) to build and QA email campaigns
  • Work closely with marketing operations on demographic and behavioral criteria-based list segmentation (e.g. email engagement, website interactions)
  • Help clean and optimize our email list and QA process
  • Level-up our email marketing functionality within Hubspot, including new and improved email templates and email marketing features
  • Manage SSTech’s email marketing plan and partner with other members of the marketing team to integrate campaign-specific messaging, layout and assets
  • Track the performance of all email marketing campaigns, and the overall health of the channel and report KPIs to leadership and other stakeholders
  • Stay-up-to date on email marketing best practices and compliance related topics
  • Present to senior leadership regularly on email plans and results
  • Continuously ideate and innovate within our email marketing channels and campaigns

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Hubspot or a similar marketing automation platform (e.g. Pardot, Mailchimp, Marketo, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, …)
  • Familiarity with Hubspot email template and contact list management process
  • Good knowledge of email marketing strategies and best practices, as well as a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay on top of email marketing trends
  • Has successfully managed email campaigns in a B2C or B2B environment
  • 2+ years of experience working in a marketing
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Good analytical skills in order to gather and summarize data for reports
  • Prior experience working for a B2B tech company is a plus
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently without much direction
  • The ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-moving, cross-functional team culture
  • Experience cultivating relationships and working with remote teams
  • Continuous learner who enjoys finding solutions and getting things done
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Business, Marketing, and/or related field
  • Ability to synthesize creative and analytical insights to develop impactful email plans
  • Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to use sound judgment
