The Global Communications team is a critical function across our business and we are looking for individuals who can lead and execute to a high standard as we scale and build to empower strong narratives and sustainable, rapid growth. Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communications strategies, and a range of proactive communications plans and initiatives to support the brand development and reputation management- Develop compelling narratives that engages both trade and consumer audiences- Execute and oversee communications programs from messaging development, media outreach plans to proactive pitching- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing and policy on communications related campaigns and initiatives, including in areas related to partnerships and marketing opportunities- Identify and secure relevant speaking and media opportunities for local market executives, to help tell TikTok's key brand and platform narratives.- Collaborate with executives to understand and support their business goals, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver communications support in a range of areas.- Provide issues management advice, response and handling as they arise, on an on-call basis - Write blog posts, media releases, announcements and op-eds to a high standard- Provide market PR risk assessments and counsel for projects from across the business- Manage external PR agencies to support the above effortsQualifications- Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written communications skills - you will be working with the global TikTok team- Bachelor's degree or higher- 5+ years of relevant working experience, experience in both corporate and consumer communications is preferred- An excellent communicator who can successfully build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally- A team player who can lead projects and strong project management skills- Working knowledge of the competitor and political landscape of the market- Experience working in both a corporate and agency setting- Experience working in multiple markets across Mexico and LATAM TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
