We are looking for an IT Technician!

An exciting opportunity for tech professionals passionate about providing efficient technical support, managing hardware, software, and networks, and solving problems in dynamic environments.

If you have solid experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and network administration, and you want to contribute innovative solutions to a growing tax services company, this position is for you.

 

What will be your purpose?

To provide efficient technical support and ensure the smooth operation of the company’s systems, equipment, and networks, guaranteeing continuity of operations and a seamless technology experience for all staff.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt and efficient technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and essential office equipment.
  • Perform regular installations, updates, and maintenance of software and operating systems.
  • Administer user accounts, manage permissions and access levels, ensuring security and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain robust IT security protocols.
  • Document requests, incidents, resolutions, and configurations using CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate system upgrades and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including hardware repairs, part replacements, and software debugging.
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and IT configurations.
  • Support general IT department functions across various services.

 

Required Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in IT help desk, support, or network administration roles.
  • Technical skills:
  • Strong knowledge of network topologies, peripherals, and hands-on hardware repair.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications and Microsoft Windows products.
  • Experience with CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Languages: Advanced English.
  • Behavioral skills: Strong communication, organizational ability, prioritization, proactivity, adaptability, and problem-solving.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work on some Saturdays.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Location: On-site in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
  • Work schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • (Some Saturdays required).
  • Contract type: Permanent.
