Position Summary

The Community Manager is responsible managing CCS’ online brand, voice and image by creating, curating and moderating social media and online content designed to build relationships and engage CCS followers within online communities.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for CCS’ online community and stakeholders.
  • Creates and publishes content for all media platforms.
  • Reviews social media and other marketing metrics to build and improve campaign strategies.
  • Crafts responses to the online community’s feedback and messages on various media platforms in a timely manner.
  • Implements social media and communication campaigns to align with CCS marketing strategies.
  • Provides engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts.
  • Monitors and reports on feedback regarding online reviews.
  • Organizes and participates in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Coordinates communications to ensure brand consistency across all media platforms.
  • Stays up-to-date with digital technology trends.
  • Analyzes engagement data, identifies trends in customer interactions and plans digital campaigns to build community
  • Coordinates and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule.
  • Ability to work onsite/in-office and in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year(s) of experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter) required.
  • Business proficiency (writing/reading/speaking in English and Spanish) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as MSWord, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate consistency, accuracy, good judgment, follow through and attention to detail.
  • Promotes a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ability to be receptive to feedback, willing to learn, responsive to change and embraces continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with Meta Business Suite is required.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events).
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and strong work ethics.
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Business or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Community management certification preferred.
