Ensure the correct management of the fleet processes for CARICAM, through the implementation and compliance of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programs in order to maximize the useful life of the vehicles. Ensure compliance with the requirements and standards established by MASS, ensuring an efficient fleet and in optimal conditions for the different areas.

Lead the development, implementation and renewal of the CARICAM fleet policy, to standardize the fleet processes in the region.
• Ensure that CARICAM fleet units meet the minimum safety requirements established by MASS.
• Develop the checklist program, for fleet users, prior to use and after the use of the units to guarantee the conditions of the fleet over time.
• Guarantee the database of vehicle assets in CARICAM.
• Ensure the correct definition and execution of the fleet budget for each MU in CARICAM.
• Ensure that the units that are under repair, in the workshops assigned by the insurance, return to their activity in the shortest possible time.
• Guarantee the effective use of the control systems for the purchase of spare parts and tires for each country.
• Review and participate in the development of fleet replacement capex.
• Ensure the implementation and standardization of fleet preventive and corrective maintenance so that the maintenance system supports the entire fleet
• Ensure that each operation complies with the procedures and documentation necessary for contractual relations with mechanics and / or workshops.
• Ensure that each CARICAM Fleet Manager manages effective control of utility and executive vehicle assignments.
• Monthly review the most significant expenses in each operation and ensure with each Fleet Manager the adjustments or differences to reduce those expenses in the necessary cases.
• Review and analyze monthly fuel consumption reports, spare parts and mileage. Suggest action plans based on these.
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers in each country to seek volume discounts.
• Ensure that in each operation the fleet units have all the necessary documents to be in legal order and that the users of commercial vehicles and executives sign the documents required for the use of them according to established policy.
• Ensure that in each country the inventory of vehicles is updated at the end of each Q., and the accounting integration with this inventory is divided by Country, division and branch.
• Implement and ensure the execution in each country of the audit plan for vehicles and spare parts such as batteries and tires.
• Validate and authorize the use of local workshops in each country. Have at least two workshops in each branch or division.
• Ensure and support the annual implementation of the fleet by country and participate jointly with MASS in the implementation of the action plan for repairs.
• Support the processes of purchasing new vehicles.
• Provide support in conjunction with MASS to the equipment of the vehicles to guarantee the optimal conditions of security including installation of security boxes, shelves, logos, fenders, GPS, etc.
• Ensure fleet generated wastes have an environmentally friendly final disposal mechanism.
• Responsible for the preparation of the following reports:
to. Monthly report of collisions by country in CARICAM.
B. Monthly fuel consumption report for each caricam region and country.
C. Monthly report of kilometers traveled by each CARICAM country.
D. Monthly report of insurance claims related to fleet collisions.
and. Monthly report of fleet units in each CARICAM country.
Qualifications/Requirements
Academic level: Degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Mechanic.
• MBA
• Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years in similar position, with experience in Fleet Management of high volume vehicles.
• High level of English, verbal and written fluency
• Experience in team management and negotiation with suppliers.
• Availability of schedules and to travel in and out of the country.
• Knowledge in diesel engines, gasoline, diesel injection.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel.
