The Test Development Engineer will be Responsible for Responsible for developing, designing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment. Understands customer expectation, co-ordinates alignment of concepts. Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations. Develops test solutions and equipment and provides specification and Statement of Work (SOW) for RFQ. Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data. Develops qualifications schedules and guidelines. Buys off delivered test equipment accordingly. Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues. Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel. Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software. Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem solving techniques. Support Test Engineers and Maintenance team to resolve test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements Here is some of what youll need (required) General Networking Knowledge Understanding of subnetting Understanding of OSI Model Understanding difference between router, switch and hub Knowledge and expertise of how to IOS/IOX interface configuration Knowledge and expertise ICND knowledge/CCNA Knowledge and expertise of protocols and settings used at SNT Autotest Script Knowledge Klemtest and scripting knowledge Test Tools Knowledge and expertise Understanding of Cisco Parameters Platform Knowledge and expertise of how to development Python code Full understanding of use Lists, tuple,string, set.
