JOB SUMMARY: This is a Tax Audit Supervisor position in the General Tax Administration, Field Operations Process, Melbourne service center. The incumbent will manage tax auditors, confer and assist auditors with difficult issues, review case files for accuracy, conduct meetings with taxpayers and maintain control of case files assigned to the team to ensure timely audit completion. The incumbent will also conduct general administrative and personnel duties including verifying and approving timesheets, leave requests, travel vouchers, and the preparation and completion of performance plans.
