We have an exciting opportunity for a  Knowledge Systems Specialist – Senior to join our team.To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed; meet the education and work experience required; and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.

  Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for leading all implementations, management and support of knowledge systems tools.
  • Provide solutions by analyzing business needs and processes; recommending the best methodologies and tools (from approved platforms); developing and designing out of the box solutions; coordinating across the organization to ensure enterprise solutions are utilized; providing training for users.
  • Engages as the subject matter expert on our selected platforms – including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 and emerging collaboration tools as identified to successfully satisfy information requirements.
  • Understand business requirements, goals, and risks in order to formulate and define technical scope and objectives of projects.
  • Provide analysis, design, development, implementation and Provide client support and consultation for IT issues.
  • Should be focused on improving business operations. Understand Programming Languages: C#, C++, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML and SQL.

    • Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience required for Senior level is 10 years.

    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong customer service/client facing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
