The Wound Care Registered Nurse performs the primary function of a RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Wound Healing Center (WHC). Communicates and collaborates closely with physicians, outpatient and inpatient nurses, Wound Care staff and other members of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for patients. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate the care for wound care clients.

Qualifications
Must already be certified as a CWOCN or WCS (Wound Care Specialist).
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desired.
- FL RN License and/or approved multistate license.
- Previous Wound Care RN experience required.
- Case Management experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
