Requirements and Activities:

  • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools. Designed tools for managing the infrastructure, configured server images, experience of server administration and mass system deployments. Knowledge of Agile Scrum / Safe and ITIL process.
  • Good systems administration skills and good knowledge of Linux.
  • Strong scripting (e.g. Python, Bash scripting) and automation skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
  • Professional commitment to high quality and a passion for learning new skills. Ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with Ansible, SaltStack, or other automation platforms
  • Experience of Cloud Technology (such as Amazon and Azure). Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
