Project Manager - Fort Myers

As the Telecommunication Services Lead - Project Manager, the resource is responsible for the architecture, management, monitoring and maintenance of the above telecom systems (analog and VoIP). Additionally, this role would oversee the operations of the outside fiber plant and fiber transport systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Support services
• Architecture, Design and Planning services
• Engineering, Implementation and Operational services
• Manage large project moves relocating VoIP & Nortel
• Install and service the customer equipment
• Provide support procurement, configuration, training and support for mobile devices, smart phones and pagers.
• Provide System Management and programming of the systems to provide features and functions desired by users.

• 8+ years' experience of Telecom IT Project or Program Management
• Strong working knowledge of IT operations and controls
• Experience working with Avaya (Nortel) and Cisco phone systems
• Strong understanding of phone system (PBX/VoIP) and circuit availability (analog, IP Trunks, PRIs)
• Telecommunications System Management
• Fiber infrastructure services
• Installations, Moves, Adds, and Changes
• Provisioning & Management (Carrier & Cellular)
• Experience preparing Annual Budget reports
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
