Maximise user and customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives
The Product Manager role is a tactical role with ownership of the Product Backlog for a development team and is responsible for prioritising and maintaining it. As Product Manager, you will be part of the China product delivery team who are responsible for planning, prioritising and agreeing the roadmap of initiatives within the eCommerce and Omni-channel space in China (specifically TMall, our D2C brand site, WeChat and future selling channels).

Your core responsibility will be to work with internal business stakeholders, external experts, UX designers, researchers and technical teams to optimise digital experiences with two key goals in mind: 

  • Maximise user/customer satisfaction
  • Achieve business objectives 
  • Together with the team, you will work to develop product features, ensuring that the development team are working on the items that will deliver the most significant customer and business value. Furthermore, you will support the creation and maintenance of longer-term product artefacts, including the product roadmap.

    Delivery focused and proactive
    You might be the person we are looking for if you are delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and a strong drive to resolve issues. Your approach is proactive and pragmatic, and you have an ability to quickly understand both the customer and business value of new product features. You understand how to put your good judgement into use to make sound prioritisation decisions and to ensure and improve the quality of service delivered to all customers, external, internal and business owners.

    To succeed as Product Manager, we imagine you have and can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product ownership and/or management, demonstrating successful development and delivery of product strategies, roadmaps through to product launch and optimisation
  • Experience of owning digital products with multiple stakeholders and complex, competing priorities
  • Team working and collaborations skills demonstrated in Scrum/agile environments
  • Knowledge of agile Scrum methodology and practices as well as experience with Jira
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
