Responsibilities

Fort Lauderdale Beahvioral Health Center  is a 182-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Oakland Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale FL. FLBHC features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Fort Laudedale Behavioral Health Center.

    Business Development Coordinator

    Qualifications

    Education/Training:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification :

  • Must have valid Driver’s License
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic community and business development concepts. Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
  • Knowledge of key internal/external health-care environments. Knowledge of programs.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal customers.
