POSITION SUMMARY: Provides servicing maintenance and repair of building and equipment. Has general knowledge in plumbing, electrical, steam, air conditioning, refrigeration, electronic and machinery repair.
Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.
Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission, goals, & objectives.
Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Five years general knowledge in HVAC, electrical and machinery required.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting/carryingand pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
