Job Description

Are you an Mortage Loan Processor in the Fort Lauderdale area who's #readytowork? Ultimate Staffing is seeking dynamic candidates with an understanding to ensure the timely and accurate submission of loans to underwriting and the closing department, while providing superior customer service to our borrowers.   • Key Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing: Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
  • Review residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets industry and company standards.
  • Interact with borrowers and vendors to ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with industry and company standards.
  • Prepare loan packages for submission to underwriting.
  • Prepare approved loan files for submission to the closing department.
  • Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.
  • Review residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets industry and company standards.
  • Interact with borrowers and vendors to ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with industry and company standards.
  • Prepare loan packages for submission to underwriting.
  • Prepare approved loan files for submission to the closing department.

  • Experience and Skills:
    Education and Experience:
  •  Bachelor's Degree preferred
  •  2 years of mortgage closing experience.
  •  Or combination of both education and experience

  • Abilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic fundamentals.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.
  • Good organizational skills. Excellent records and file management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
