Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG), is seeking an exceptionally talented Subject Matter Expert – Lean Black Belt with extensive Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) experience.

Location: Tampa, FL area. Other locations may be considered.

SSG is actively seeking a Subject Matter Expert – Lean Black Belt to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in optimizing the Veterans’ experience. This position supports clinical, in-patient healthcare systems.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations, plan, and recommend improvements to the VA
  • Facilitate brainstorming events that are focused on the improvement of processes within the organization
  • Lead/organize Lean Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt improvement efforts

    • Required Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Lean Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt certification
  • Teaching and coaching experience
  • Virtual classroom instruction and face-to-face meeting facilitation experience
  • Adult learning experience
  • Experience managing of clinical, business, administrative, and executive-level participants/students toward completion of improvement efforts
  • Must possess or qualify for award of a Public Trust security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
