LA30 - Machine Operator - Pensacola

Kelly Services is immediately hiring a Forklift Operator to assist our Global Manufacturer Client.  The temp to hire assignment is in Pensacola, Florida. Location:    Pensacola, FL 32514 Job Title:    Forklift Operator Reports to:    Team Leader Rate per hour    $11.60 per hour   Shift: 1st Shift - 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (you may be asked to come in earlier or stay later).   Open to available schedule Job Summary:  The primary function of this position is to supply needed materials to the assembly operators and put materials in their proper place.   Primary Duties: îÂ?Â?   Abilities to Operate a Forklift (standup/sit down). Supply components, raw materials, and in-process goods to assembly operators for production. Remove in-process material or finished products to the next department or to shipping respectively. Audit work-in-process inventories and verify accuracy. Organize materials within department for easy access. Audit all material containers used in specified areas for cleanliness and repair. Remove unusable material to avoid departmental clutter. Make random individual component checks for inventory purposes. Cross-train on multiple job functions and train co-workers as necessary. Maintain clean, safe work are according to the 5S standards.   Education requirements: Education equivalent to a high school education.    Physical/Safety requirements: Plant Floor Environment.  Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment deemed necessary by the company. Stand for most of an 8-hour workday with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning and lifting (up to 40 pounds).   This job description in no way implies that the duties listed above are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
