A growing, mid-size, Financial Services Company and is looking to hire a temp-to-hire Junior Staff Accountant. This is an incredible foot-in-the-door opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and overtime availability as well as the opportunity for a permanent/direct hire position.

responsibilities:

· Focused on Accounts Receivable daily posting and reconciliations.

· Researching short payments & discrepancies

· Assisting in variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

· Month/quarter close process, posting journal entries and account reconciliations.

· Misc. other accounting related duties, as needed

 
qualifications:
BA/BS in accounting0-1+ year experience in a corporate accounting departmentGreat Plains, MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or other GL systems experienceHigh attention-to-detail and ability to meet deadlinesProfessional presentation and demeanorStrong Excel skills to include pivot tablesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
