Family Description:

Leads floor activities in relation of ModCo Capacity/HC optimization roadmap action plans. In charge of building prototype tools, SOP optimization, and data collection to find new opportunities or improvement and prove the benefits of action taken. Close communication with Process Engineering and Manufacturing Departments.

Knowledge and Technical Skills (mandatory):

  • Autonomous

  • Teamwork (cross-functional)

  • Automated Lines background

  • Able to build prototype tools, jigs

  • Capacity to learn, curiosity about manufacturing processes,…

  • Creative, bringing new ideas

  • Data reporting in Excel

  • Knowledge and Technical Skills (good-to-have):

  • Lean basics: Yamazumi, TPM, SMED,…

  • Solidworks, 3D modeling, 3D printing

  • Mechanics, Sustaining, and/or Process background

  • Complexity:

  • Every change must follow related internal business process and get formal approval from CCB

  • Every proposed change must improve the concerned metric without affecting others

  • Be able to propose a mature technical solution, sustainable and efficient in production

  • Teamwork, Collaboration and Influence:

  • Good coordination with IE leader on site and Operations Dept to properly deploy changes on site

  • Be an active member of the achievement of annual performance objectives

  • Collaborates company-wide on cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.

  • Adept at working directly with customer or supplier representative to discuss technical matters.

  • Initiative:

  • Be curious, question the unknown, look for missing data

  • Audit colleagues to find new ideas

  • Creative thinking and innovation: use common-sense, benchmark inside or outside SunPower

  • Impact and Results Focus:

  • Good methodology to get clear comparisons before/after

  • Risk analysis for any change proposed

  • Verify the benefit of the change

  • Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Technician Degree and 5+ years of Experience in combined Sustaining, Process, Lean and Industrial Engineering fields
