Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Leads the platform’s efforts in the sales process of its products.
  • Client Demand Database: Maintains up to date database of client investment demand including feedback on investor strategy, geography, risk tolerance, sectoral preferences, time horizons, asset & liability matching requirements.
  • Investor Relationships: Has existing working relationships with GRA CEO and CIO’s across a number of geographic regions.
  • Investment Strategy Acumen: Proven ability to identify key investment themes and trends and develop business opportunities for the GR business.
  • Investment Knowledge: Understands the role of public, private, debt and equity in the GRA investment cycle.
  • Investment Risk: Has a good understanding of GRA specific risk.
  • Teamwork: Builds and maintains a cohesive team committed to working within the broader firm’s matrix structure (Distribution, Marketing, Compliance, HR, Risk, ORM, Internal Audit, etc.), and actively represents the platform as a key leader of the GRA platform.
  • .Leadership:
  • Drives talent strategy to recruit, hire, retain and develop high performing employees serving the GRA Product Specialist Department. Ensures firm is staffed with productive employees in the right job, at the right time.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • Generally 10+ years experience in one or a combination of the following areas: Real Estate Product specialist, Real Estate client service and/or relationship management, Real Estate Product development and design and/or Distribution, sales of investment products.
  • Strong real assets related experience, market presence and deep relationships with capital market participants is required.
  • Experience or potential as a global leader and overseeing teams across countries
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
