As a Technology & Development Owner (TDO), you will execute in all aspects of delivery and development to achieve strategic objectives. Balance the need to meet short development timelines with an unwavering resolve and maintain a relentless focus to deliver on future innovative products. Identify key risks, develop mitigation strategies and concurrent development paths. Regularly interact across functional areas to ensure objectives are met across multiple portfolios. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills that fosters an authentic feedback environment and improvement mindset.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience building, leading and motivating highly collaborative teams to enable a large and diverse team of engineers across several key product portfolios
  • Drive innovation across the portfolio to enable the next generation of disruptive HCM experiences
  • Facilitate the ongoing modernization and evolution of our technology, embracing cloud and SaaS deployment models and enabling capabilities
  • Produce high quality solutions that allow for clients to quickly adopt. The role will also include the implementation of the agile lifecycle to implement the delivery from concept to long term support.
  • Ability to balance being hands on and into the details with having the 30,000 feet perspective
  • Be an enterprise-level can-do problem solver, be relentless, resourceful, and constantly look to improve in all aspects
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment and adapt to new insights
  • Partner with support, sales and cloud teams to deliver an amazing experience to our customers

    • Required Qualifications:  

  • Ability to listen, adopt and influence are essential. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach, inspire and mentor a team
  • Creativity; interpersonal skills; emotional intelligence
  • 7 years of software engineering or related experience
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable, global, eficient and reliable software services
  • Broad understanding of various cloud development technologies and trends; developer preferences and challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and identify best practices. Future oriented, anticipates outcomes, decisive and results oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development
  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and passionate about the customer experience

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
