Associate Asset Management Specialist

American Recruiting and Consulting Group is currently looking for an Associate Asset Management Specialist for a client of ours in the Riverside area of Jacksonville. The right candidate will have a good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and experience with UPS World Ship.
Description:

The IT Asset Management Clerk will organize, tag, and distribute incoming merchandise to business units across the company. It is responsible for ensuring inventory records are accurate and equipment arrives in a timely to the proper client group area.

Shipping and receiving hardware from vendors using UPS World ship and Campus ship
Preparing assets to be shipped
Working with customers to coordinate the return of IT equipment
Update Assets and Service Desk tickets
Scanning assets with inventory tools
General warehouse duties
Other duties as assigned

Job Duties:

Knowledge of general shipping and warehouse practices
Customer service focus
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Must demonstrate initiative and effective decision-making
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
Able to lift 70 lbs

Required Experience:

1+ years of relevant work experience
Strong computer skills/literacy
Prefer experience with UPS World Ship and MS Office
