Claims Processor

Claims Processor - Junior Description: UNET claim processing functions including investigations, negotiating settlements, payments, research regarding eligibility, etc. Specific Duties: 1. Review, analyze and adjudicate the appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review 2 Ability to handle most claim types / cases / issues that are submitted to the team 3. Handle claim issues within turnaround standards 4. Meet and maintain minimum quality and productivity standards 5. Handle multiple functions and applications as needed 6. Conducts data entry and re-work as required 7. Process rework issues 8. Ability handle escalations as needed 9. Communicate any changes in trending of inventory, volumes, and quality remediation 10. Complete required individual development courses / training

Must have qualifications/experience: ? High school diploma or higher ? 1+ years of experience in medical billing or claims ? Proficient in MS Office with strong computer skills (e.g. multiple systems experience, keyboarding skills, Microsoft word, Power Point) ? Proficient in verbal and written English skills ? You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location. ? Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained. Shift Start/End Time: M-F. 8 scheduled hours Between 6am-6pm (Overtime may be required)
