Automation Programmer

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge in C# software development (relevant experience with other technologies are acceptable and will be considered)

• Experience with SQL and SQL Server (SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server 2017)

• Visual Studio (ASP .Net) with experience in multi-threaded applications, MVC and Entity Framework

• Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code management (relevant experience with other tools are acceptable and will be considered)

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

• Experience in testing computer software

• Bilingual – English and Spanish

• Work location – facility in Aguadilla/Metro Area and possibility to work remote.

• Willing to work with worldwide software development teams

• Scanners programming, interface (1D, 2D)

• Labelling printing

• Vision system (Cognex)

• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation suite: programmable automation controllers and communication protocols.

Impact/Scope

• Performs work assigned by others.

• Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.
