Job Description

The Food Service Manager is a management position responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Oversees and manages dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise team regarding production, quality and control

Compliance

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates food service activities in order to deliver a finished product to the customer

Qualifications

  • Requires at least 1 year of experience
  • Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Enforces Federal, State, and industry Health and Safety regulations.
  • Promotes safety through awareness discussions, training, and by modeling safe behaviors, with strong emphasis on chemical handling, PPE, and exposure risks.
  • Maintains required documentation (e.g., Pest Control, MSS, Chemical Inventory/Usage/Titrations, Audits, Daily Tasks).
  • Ensures compliance with FSQS policies, departmental SOPs, SSOPs, and safety programs.
  • Conducts regular facility inspections to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs annual SSOP audits to confirm accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Leads and participates in investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
  • Provides leadership during emergencies or natural disasters, ensuring personnel accountability.
  • Ensures adherence to Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards; promptly reports food safety or quality concerns to QA and Production Leadership and develops CAPAs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sanitation experience, including at least 1 year directly supervising hourly employees.
  • Knowledge of microbiology, HACCP, SQF, OSHA compliance, food laws, pest control, and sanitation practices in the food industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak effectively before groups at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, technical manuals, and operating procedures in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
  • Preferred - Experience with sanitation budgeting, cost control, or vendor management.
  • Preferred – Bilingual English/Spanish

Propósito

Responsabilidades

  • Participar con los equipos de negocio en el desarrollo de proyectos de optimización de resultados y/o desempeño del portafolio.
  • Analizar los procesos de originación de los diferentes productos y servicios del banco.
  • Recopilar y analizar información de mercado complementaria a los análisis y proyectos vigentes.
  • Coordinar con diferentes departamentos involucrados la creación de reportes, análisis o servicios de información en las plataformas corporativas.
  • Preparación y análisis de indicadores del negocio.

 

Requisitos

  • Nivel Académico: Licenciatura culminada (Estadística, Ingeniera Industrial o en Sistemas y/o carreras afines).
  • Manejo intermedio de Phyton y SQL (Indispensable).
  • Manejo avanzado de Power BI y Excel (Indispensable).

Descripción General:

 

Es responsable de representar a Flor de Caña en cada Tours & Experiencia brindada, trasmitiendo a cada visitante los valores y pilares de la marca de forma asertiva, con el objetivo de ganar la confianza de los consumidores, asegurando la visibilidad y la presencia de marca en todo momento y generar crecimiento continuo del volumen de venta de los productos y experiencias que se ofrecen.

 

Responsabilidades Clave:

 

Mantener relación constante con todo el equipo de venta y administrador con el objetivo de llevar la agenda de reservaciones para su correcta ejecución.

 

Asegurar que lo necesario para cada experiencia y Tour se encuentre listo antes de iniciar su recorrido.

 

Comunicar cualquier incidente sucedido en el transcurso de algún recorrido.

 

Asegurar el cumplimiento de todos los lineamientos de la marca.

 

Planificar su día, según programación de Tours & Experiencias.

 

Brindar atención y asesoría a clientes de tienda.

 

Proporcionar retroalimentación de los comentarios recibidos por clientes a su jefe inmediato, con el objetivo de tener un ambiente de mejora continua.

 

Anticipar oportunidades para asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos de ventas, y actuar en base a un pensamiento estratégico en la búsqueda de oportunidades para impulsar ventas de experiencias y productos de la tienda.

 

Construir el segmento FDC 12+ en todo su pensamiento, desarrollo y actuar.

 

Habilidades y Requerimientos:

 

Disponibilidad de horario (requisito indispensable).

 

Dominio avanzado del idioma Inglés (requisito indispensable).

 

Técnico o graduado universitario de Administración de empresas, Marketing, Turismo y Hotelería, Licenciatura en Educación o carreras afines.

 

Conocimiento de la marca y curiosidad sobre la categoría y la industria.
