Your Role Accountabilities…
Warner Bros Discovery is looking for a Director of Operations within CNN's Technical Operations business unit.
This position is the key customer contact for multiple CNN networks as assigned and handles all production requirements for the business.
In this role one is responsible for strategic planning to meet client requirements, support business drivers and develop and lead large high performing teams.
This person is required to remain current in respective technical areas of responsibility as well as being knowledgeable in other areas of the business to fill in for VP and other senior management as required.
Oversee Technical Projects both long and short term (technology evaluation and recommendation, implementation, budget planning, workflow procedures, and staffing)
Manages Newsgroup Operations projects as assigned across all operations departments including technical, workflow and personnel projects
On-going employee development and performance management for assigned staff and managers.
Responsible for use and accuracy of discrepancy reporting for reliable data and metrics for business improvements
Collaborate on the same Leadership Team with other Director of Operations across Atlanta, DC, and New York.
Diligently monitor communications regarding urgent needs – sometimes this is required in off hours – the stories we tell don’t always unfold during bankers’ hours, so flexibility is key.

The Financial Analyst position is responsible for preparing and reviewing participations statements. This position reviews and understands contractual agreements, ensuring that all financial obligations are met. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for enhancing departments systems and tools through involvement in system design and testing; and improving business processes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare participations statements, leveraging a new state-of-the-art Participations system, WBD’s enterprise SAP platform, existing tools, and analytical methodologies.
Read and understands abstracts, legal agreements, and other related written documentation.
Perform first level review of statements prepared by other Analysts/Financial Analysts and provide feedback to preparers to make changes and correct errors, as needed.
Perform current and historical data analysis and verify that reporting is in accordance with
contractual agreements. The analysis work takes into consideration the windowing and release
patterns of film/television/other product, distribution cost trends analysis, etc.
Research data abnormalities using SAP and/or other line-of-business components to review underlying transactional activity.
Support ad-hoc and special projects, including, but not limited to presentations to management and staff, buyout calculations, etc.
Identify improvements and enhancements related to FCRA’s participations system and participate in system testing.
Attend technical and conceptual training sessions and cross-divisional forums as needed.
Work Experience:
1 - 2 years previous experience in a finance, accounting, auditing or IT environment a plus (internships in a relevant field considered).
Participations and/or entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
Business analyst or financial analyst experience a plus.
Public or private audit and/or consulting experience a plus.
Knowledge of GAAP vs. cash-based accounting principles a plus.
Experience with system implementations and testing a plus.
Experience in a large corporate environment a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required. (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Information Systems preferred)

General Summary:
The Editor position is responsible for supporting the content ops operation. This includes copying, editing, and compilation of the film material (films and series and short formats) according to SPT standards to be broadcasted, distributed on multiple platforms, and shared with multiple departments. Also includes FAST channel scheduling.
Responsibilities
Perform technical evaluations and the copying of film material (films, series and/or short formats) for different platforms.
Edit movies and/or series to meet censorship requirements and/or programming format (segments) of the channels.
Make copies for various departments (Promotions, Traffic, PR, Marketing, Sales, etc.).
Perform the preparation of material for automation.
Generate technical evaluation reports.
Match material in our MAM library and perform deliveries of the TX versions to the required platforms.
Validate the content that was ingested into the FAST channel playout.
Create FAST channel’s schedules in the FAST channel playout system.

Your New Role…
The successful candidate will direct and shape CNN’s Latin American news coverage across multiple platforms. Your Role Accountabilities…
Identify, set, and oversee daily editorial news priorities for CNN. From text-based output on digital platforms, internal news alerts to video products for digital platforms and linear and streaming platforms.
Manage a team of reporters and editors, prioritizing assignments, and directing reporting targets.
Manage the overall editorial process from story conception to reporting, writing, editing and publishing.

Our CNN Platforms team is looking for a Director, Software Engineering to lead several critical pillars of our CNN.com and CNN app digital experiences — Data Privacy, Site Performance & Accessibility, and Design Systems. The CNN Platforms team builds, operates, and optimizes our digital content platform to empower journalists and product teams to drive essential, sustainable, and facts-first storytelling. Our focus areas include the content management system powering our CNN editorial experiences, content distribution to internal systems and external partners, media management for assets, website and app performance, data privacy and governance, and our core CNN design system.

Your Role Accountabilities...
Technical Leadership:
Lead architecture and implementation of core tools and integrations supporting user consent flows, data privacy, performance monitoring, and design systems.
Champion the evolution of scalable, extensible, and secure technical frameworks powering CNN’s platform experiences.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering leaders to embed these capabilities into rendering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and internal observability systems.
Engage in high-level roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and cross-functional delivery updates to ensure alignment across the CNN organization.
Team Management & Mentorship:
Lead, mentor, and grow multiple teams of software engineers and managers, fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and ownership.
Champion engineering excellence through best practices, high-quality code standards, and efficient developer workflows.
Oversee architectural design reviews and maintain active involvement in code quality through hands-on review contributions.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate closely with CNN product, program, and design teams to evaluate technical feasibility, enhance the developer experience, and deliver impactful product features to boost user engagement and retention.
Align with DevOps, QA, Legal, Privacy, and WBD partner teams on infrastructure planning, testing strategies, and compliance with legal and privacy standards.
Partner with Engineering leadership across CNN and broader WBD organizations to drive technology strategy, identify consolidation opportunities, and promote cross-team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Essentials...
Proven experience (10+ years) in a software engineering leadership role within Data Privacy, Site Performance & Accessibility, and/or Design Systems.
Strong experience (3+ years) managing and scaling high-performance engineering teams, with focus on mentorship, team development, and inclusive culture.
Deep knowledge of modern web and mobile application architecture, with an emphasis on frontend development, UI/UX practices, and responsible user data management.
Extensive experience in server architecture, cloud computing (AWS), backend services design and integration, and content management systems.
Proficient in programming languages including Node.js, Go, JavaScript, and other relevant languages.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies for web, mobile, and connected TV platforms.
Extensive experience with legal and privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, COPPA, PECR, consent management, and data governance.
Deep expertise in site and app performance optimization, leveraging Core Web Vitals and page/screen loading strategies for fast, reliable user experiences.
Strong background in developing and scaling design systems, with practical experience using Figma and building tools/scripts to translate design tokens into reusable code.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills with the ability to align engineering initiatives to product and business goals.

Experience working in news, media, or content-driven digital technology with understanding of unique challenges in fast-paced editorial environments.

Your New Role:
This position will support Program Execution, Compliance and Risk Oversight projects within the Global Information & Content Security (GICS) team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Program Execution Office, this role will assist with GICS operational initiatives and projects, monitor roadmap/plan and report on progress. This individual drives the execution of project plans, supporting the overall GICS program plan through work that they help implement.
This role will work closely with leads from Program Execution, Cybersecurity Compliance, IT SOX Compliance, Risk Oversight and Reporting, Infrastructure, Technical Support, and GICS SMEs to coordinate the planning, scheduling, and testing of projects, programs, and initiatives. The candidate will be expected to employ strong technical and organizational skills to coordinate requirements and deliverables with the customer; document best practices; schedule and prioritize tasks; gather inputs and prepare documentation or briefings for/from technical review meetings.

Your New Role…
The Executive Administrative Assistant will provide a full range of administrative support to the SVP, Data Analytics, Science & Insights as well as two- three Vice Presidents within CNN’s Digital Products and Services including, but not limited to: arrange travel, maintain Outlook calendar, schedule meetings, prepare expense reports, answer and screen calls, maintain office supplies, and process expenses. This individual must be pro-active and able to prioritize while managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar for the Executives. This individual must be able to effectively coordinate the Executives schedule and all other necessary parties to ensure meetings and presentations are executed seamlessly.
Attention to detail is key to this role. Candidate must be able to work with executives with ease.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Client Support - 40% Provides a full range of administrative support to the executives. This individual must be pro-active and able to prioritize while managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar for the Executive(s). Organize and coordinate logistics for monthly and quarterly department meetings and events.
Calendar Management- 40% Maintain Outlook calendar and schedule meetings for the executives. This individual must be able to effectively coordinate the Executive's schedule and all other necessary parties to ensure meetings and presentations are executed seamlessly. A strong attention to detail is required.
Arrange Travel– 10% Arrange travel for executives while adhering to the corporate expense and travel policies.
Expense Management – 10% Individual must be proactive and able to prioritize while juggling ever-changing needs and a demanding production environment. Submit expenses in Concur for executive clients in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience…
Bachelor's degree is preferred. 3+ years’ experience supporting a senior level/executive preferred. Experience in media, news, digital, politics, and/or entertainment industry preferred. Must be MS Office proficient: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail is required. Communication is key in this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Requires a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion.
You should be extremely organized and work efficiently in a very fast paced environment. You should have an ability to prioritize your work so you can handle many projects simultaneously under tight deadline.
You should have excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team. Be flexible, dependable, and results oriented. Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $64,399.00 - $119,598.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
