Position Summary:

The DeLuca Foundation is seeking a mission-focused, strategic, intellectually curious, self-starter to join our collaborative and entrepreneurial team in making a positive impact through philanthropy.

The Program Officer will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of grantmaking strategies that align with the foundation’s mission and priorities. This role will have an emphasis on nursing and allied health, and involves managing relationships with grantees, reviewing funding proposals, and assessing program impact to ensure the foundation’s resources drive meaningful change.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Grantmaking & Program Management

  • Develop and implement grantmaking strategies in alignment with the foundation’s mission and funding priorities.
  • Develop, review, and assess grant applications, conduct due diligence, and prepare funding recommendations.
  • Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with foundation policies and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of funded programs, adjust to improve outcomes, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Review grant reports and conduct site visits and check-in calls/emails to evaluate impact and progress of grants.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with grantees, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders establishing a close working relationship with key leadership and staff from those organizations.
  • Cultivate and establish partnerships with external healthcare facilities, organization, associations, and academic partners to identify opportunities where the foundation can invest in improving outcomes.
  • Represent the foundation at conferences, networking events, and community meetings.
  • Collaborate with other philanthropic organizations and funding partners to leverage resources and maximize impact.

Research & Strategic Planning

  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, and emerging issues in the foundation’s areas of focus.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform program strategies and grantmaking decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and initiatives that enhance the foundation’s impact.

Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and impact assessments for leadership and board members.
  • Communicate grant outcomes and program successes through written summaries and presentations.
  • Assist in developing content for the foundation’s website, newsletters, and public communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Extensive experience in clinical education, healthcare administration, philanthropy, or a related field with a proven track record of success in creating and managing educational programs or clinical operations.

As the Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) you will procure and maintain Walt Disney World kitchens and serving locations’ supplies and unfinished goods inventories. In this role you will implement the tasks that contribute to lean inventory management. Most of the inventory control work is completed before the food production begins; therefore, you will work third shifts/early morning shifts, usually at 4:00 AM, but could be as early as 2:00 AM. Depending on the location, you will report to the location's Inventory Planning Manager (IPM), Receiving Manager, Chef, Proprietor, or Sous Chef.

To be a successful candidate you will have excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various partners while understanding system capabilities and completing inventory control strategies. This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do:


  • Count food & beverage products daily, up to 1,000 various SKUs
  • Order and maintain appropriate inventory levels via a computer-based inventory system
  • Determine proper order quantities based on historical usage, patterns, future events, and production needs
  • Ensure all products arrive when due and confirm the accuracy of deliveries while addressing any mis-picks, damages, or shortages
  • Research, reconcile and pay invoices daily
  • Perform audit to ensure daily transactions process through food and beverage financial system of record
  • Monitor open purchase orders (POs) and resolve any POs greater than 3 days
  • Track and research vendor and warehouse credits
  • Communicate inventory status (including shortages and production-impacting issues) with Culinary team and leadership
  • Communicate with multiple vendors, both internal (DC-3) and external (Direct-to-Store Delivery)
  • Connect with Chefs, vendors, and team members to understand requests and the level of importance
  • Resolve daily stock shortages and outages
  • Work with other areas to secure products
  • Conduct all transfer types via Inventory Management Systems, including spoilage and inter-location transfers
  • Collaborate with Cast Members receiving shipments (Food Handlers)
  • Follow Food Safety guidelines
  • Inspect and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Follow inventory management best practices and standards shared by leadership
  • Determine appropriate placement within storage areas
  • Conduct month-end inventory procedures


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • A valid US Driver's License
  • Minimum six months of work experience in Food & Beverage, Inventory Management roles, or Supply Chain
  • Available to commit to work any day of the week during early shifts (as early as 2:00 AM) and shifts including weekends, overnights, and holidays
  • Understanding of the usage of Inventory Management Application Systems

Role Overview

The Project Support Engineer (PSE) is an individual project Subject Matter Expert (SME). The PSE is responsible for understanding deliverables, necessary procedure development, and generating a detailed project plan that results in successfully achieving objectives. For any assigned project, the PSE must document these efforts in an organized manner and clearly communicate a turnover to the Project and Service leads that will execute the project. The PSE supports all phases of a project including but not limited to planning development, procedure development, site walk downs, and schedule development.

The Project Support Engineer reports to the PMO Manager – Outage Excellence, and will support one or multiple projects at one time, depending on need. They are expected to give input and recommendations based on previous experience and areas of expertise to all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand contract requirements and deliverables.
  • Provide detailed project planning for contractual endeavors and additional approved opportunities requiring Open, Inspection, Repair, and Close activities. Adhere to best practices regarding Project Management, safety and FME.
  • Assist with the breakdown of the scope definition to a level that enables the Project Leader to solicit cost, scope, and schedule inputs from functional teams.
  • Assist PM with work breakdown structure creation to feed schedule and tasking to engineering, procurement, sub-contractors, and field service.
  • Integrate multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Civil, etc.) into the overall project implementation plan based on contract and project requirements.
  • Travel to customer plant sites for the purpose of planning outage requirements.
  • Capable of understanding engineering/technical drawings and bill of materials.
  • Support the engineering design change process by reviewing modification packages, bills of material, assembly drawings, vendor created drawings, etc. for completeness prior to approval.
  • Contact suppliers needed for the outage per Division of Responsibility (DOR).
  • Support vendors during work order task walk-downs; assist when design issues arise during planning; propose solutions to the Service Manager.
  • Order tooling as required to support field activity.
  • Coordinate consumable, contingency, and planned parts during planning up to delivery to the customer’s plant site.
  • Track part orders to ensure parts are being manufactured and delivered timely to properly support outages.
  • Coordinate with engineering and service technical leads for the resolution of technical issues.
  • Support Project Leader with regular task, schedule, and progress updates.
  • Review and provide impact analysis inputs on proposed project change orders, and incorporate approved change orders into planning, WBS, schedule, and work packages.
  • Reference previous outage reports, lessons learned, and other available documentation to best mitigate known risks.
  • Capture and document lessons learned comments and provide summary briefings as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously seek to expand and improve personal knowledge in the area of project planning best practices. Participate in and promote the development and adoption of new processes or changes to existing processes within Mitsubishi Power that continue to mature the program/project management discipline.
  • Provide recommendations to Service Execution for additional Work Packages or updates to existing work packages to support project execution.
  • Provide recommendations to engineering and project managers for design improvements to improve efficiency and ensure manufacturability.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine procedures, drawings, equipment, estimated time, materials, and specialized labor required to perform planned work packages.
  • Organize, revise, and maintain planned work orders. Create and assemble planned job packages in accordance with Mitsubishi Power guidelines and standards.
  • Meet with Project Leader on a recurring basis to discuss planning status, requests/clarification from customer/client, and be prepared to discuss bottlenecks, roadblocks, and future work to be planned.

Requirements

  • Minimum six (6) years related experience in planning large power generation projects.

PROPÓSITO GENERAL:

Coordinar y ejecutar la producción de pedidos en su área, de acuerdo a programación de planificación de la demanda y procedimientos operativos POE, para lograr objetivos de producción y satisfacción del cliente.

 

FUNCIONES ESPECIFICAS:

  • Inspeccionar y ejecutar la hoja de programación para realizar el balance de personal y MP, para cumplir al 100% de los pedidos.
  • Monitorear la especificación de pedidos, para garantizar satisfacción del cliente.
  • Validar el cumplimiento de lineamientos HACCP y BPM, para garantizar la inocuidad del producto.
  • Realizar pedidos de material de empaque, para asegurar el correcto uso y evitar desperdicio.
  • Gestionar apoyo en la revisión y corrección de equipo y maquinaria, para tomar acciones correctivas en tiempo y forma.
  • Coordinar el recurso humano de su área en requerimientos varios (permisos-balanceo de líneas etc.), para cumplir con los objetivos de área.

 

PERFIL DE PUESTO:

  • Estudios universitarios en administración de empresas, ingeniería industrial o carrera afín.
  • Experiencia en el área de producción, liderando personal y realizando gestiones administrativos correspondientes.
  • Conocimiento de BPMS y HACCP
  • Manejo de Microsoft Office.
  • Disponibilidad para laborar en turnos rotativos.
  • Disponibilidad para laborar en Santa Cruz de Yojoa.
