Your New Role...


CNN is seeking a visionary and experienced Supervising Producer to join our team. This role is critical in shaping both the daily output and long-term creative direction of our programming. The ideal candidate brings sharp editorial instincts, strong leadership, and the ability to generate bold, engaging show concepts that resonate with modern audiences. You’ll be responsible for overseeing live and pre-produced content, managing a talented production team, and driving innovation across formats.


Your Role Accountabilities...


Editorial & Production Leadership:
• Work closely with the VP of streaming to oversee the editorial execution and visual presentation of all programming
• Manage the production of both live and taped content across multiple hours, ensuring consistent quality and creative excellence
• Guide the editorial and technical workflow of shows under tight deadlines and fast-moving news cycles


Creative Concept Development:
• Serve as a key idea generator—someone who thrives on brainstorming and shaping new show concepts, segment formats, and storytelling structures
• Lead efforts to develop engaging programming that breaks format, captures attention, and offers fresh perspectives
• Collaborate with talent and leadership on pilots, special projects, and editorial experimentation


Team Leadership & Mentorship:
• Manage and mentor a team of producers, editors, and support staff, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment
• Ensure a high standard of editorial judgment and production consistency across all content
• Provide real-time guidance during live broadcasts, while coaching the team to elevate both day-to-day work and long-term growth


Breaking News & Crisis Response:
• Lead the control room and production team during breaking news, guiding rapid editorial decision-making and execution
• Respond quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining editorial integrity and production polish

Your Qualifications & Experience...


• 10+ years of experience in television news, with at least 5 years as a senior producer or showrunner at a major network or news organization
• A strong track record of creative thinking, with experience developing new show concepts or reimagining existing formats
• Proven leadership skills in managing editorial teams and overseeing large-scale live and taped productions
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for pacing, structure, and audience engagement
• A deep understanding of all facets of television production—including control room operations, graphics, field production, and post
• Calm and decisive under pressure, particularly in breaking news and live environments
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field preferred—or equivalent experience

The Writer/Producer in this role plays a critical editorial and production role, handling a variety of key tasks that are essential to the success of the daily program.

Your Role Accountabilities...


• Writing clear, concise, and compelling scripts for news segments, intros, teases, and anchor copy under tight deadlines.
• Producing live and taped segments from pitch to execution — including research, scripting, selecting visual elements, and coordinating graphics and video.
• The position also requires proficiency in non-linear video editing, with the ability to quickly produce high-impact content under deadline pressure.
• Managing rundowns and show elements when needed, and filling in for copy editor, line producer, and video producer.

Your Qualifications & Experience...


• 5 or more years full time broadcast news writing or reporting preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent writing skills and an ability to produce quality work quickly.
• Must have the ability to enterprise ideas and work well independently and with a team.
• Requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.

Your New Role...

The Director, Social Programming & Strategy leads content programming and publishing strategy across official social media and YouTube channels for the DC franchise portfolio – including brand-level accounts (e.g., @DCOfficial) and iconic character accounts (e.g., Superman, Batman). The Director drives always-on content strategy, campaign execution, and franchise alignment in partnership with the VP, Social Strategy (DC) & Digital Content and DC Franchise Development team. This role ensures DC’s social presence is digital-native, trend-savvy, and aligned with the broader goals of the Global Franchise organization, content studios, and WBD partner businesses. The role is also responsible for day-to-day team leadership and will play a key role in cultivating a culture of creative excellence within a high-profile growing social publishing practice.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead content programming, publishing, and platform strategy across the DC brand and key character handles, ensuring alignment with franchise priorities, audience trends, and business goals.

  • Drive editorial planning processes across DC’s franchise social channel ecosystem. Ensure the team remains focused on the most impactful moments in the franchise calendar, supporting prioritization, resolving blockers, and aligning with internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee YouTube publishing strategy and channel management, using performance insights to inform programming decisions and community growth. Run testing on select formats and apply learnings to improve publishing impact.

  • Guide social voice, creative framing, and tonal direction, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with character and platform standards.

  • Drive content innovation through ongoing experimentation, trend participation, and competitive analysis; apply learnings to inform channel evolution and focus. Tailor approach to individual channels and audience behaviors across the DC publishing ecosystem.

  • Foster team culture and ongoing talent development, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to support a growing social publishing practice.

  • Serve as lead point of contact for DC Franchise, Studios, Consumer Products, Experiences, Games, and Comms, aligning social plans to broader brand strategy and marketing priorities.

  • Manage daily content workflows and approval processes; lead recurring cross-functional planning meetings and support integrated publishing coordination.


Qualifications & Experience...

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 10 years of experience in digital content programming, social media publishing, and franchise engagement required.

  • Experience managing social publishing teams and collaborating with entertainment or IP-driven brands strongly preferred.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Deep expertise in multi-platform social publishing, content planning, and editorial programming required.

  • Strong editorial instincts, creative judgment, and platform fluency (IG, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook) required.

  • Proven ability to manage brand voice across multiple channels and franchises required.

CNN is looking for a Manager of Product Marketing to support strategy and execution of customer acquisition and retention initiatives across web, app, and CTV platforms for our Digital Products & Services division within the Growth Product Marketing team. This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing and be responsible for facilitating go-to-market campaigns that drive subscriptions, translating brand fundamentals into product contexts, optimizing campaign performance, maximizing return on spend, and ensuring that acquisition and retention efforts align with broader company goals. The Manager will work with the Director and VP to align on strategic goals, develop internal processes, and define our product positioning and target audience understanding. 

Your Role Accountabilities 

  • GTM Strategy: Develop and execute GTM strategies across paid and owned channels, with a focus on lead generation and top-of-funnel tactics to drive acquisition. Partner closely with WBD Media team to develop and execute strategies and set up campaigns. 

  • Positioning and Messaging: Translate brand fundamentals to a product context, inspiring creative asset development with creative briefs that are grounded in actionable research insights. 

  • Retention and Lifecycle Management: Design and implement targeted multi-channel campaigns to nurture subscribers at different lifecycle stages, reduce churn, and improve subscriber LTV. 

  • App Store Optimization: Develop and execute a comprehensive ASO strategy to increase app discoverability and conversion rates, managing direct relationships with Apple and Google counterparts.  

  • End-to-end Channel Management and Expansion: Ensure existing channels meet subscription goals and identify growth opportunities in new channels and emerging platforms. 

  • Campaign Optimization: Lead day-to-day management and optimization of live campaigns, focusing on improving CPA/CPL metrics and engagement rates. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative, Brand, Product, and other teams to align initiatives with product roadmaps, while providing guidance on campaign best practices, identifying risks, and outlining opportunities. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Continuously analyze campaign performance data, leveraging A/B testing, segmentation, and attribution models to refine strategies. Define success metrics and build clear test plans. 

  • Strategic Planning: Support larger Product Marketing team in setting vision, goals, and KPIs throughout the year. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing, preferably in a B2C subscription-based business. 

  • Strong track record in performance marketing, including paid media management and funnel optimization. 

  • Deep, hands-on digital product marketing knowledge for web, app, and CTV environments. 

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and strong understanding of A/B testing and cohort analysis. 

  • Data-driven approach with experience in customer journey analysis, attribution modeling, and acquisition funnel optimization. 

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The Financial Analyst position is responsible for preparing and reviewing participations statements. This position reviews and understands contractual agreements, ensuring that all financial obligations are met. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for enhancing departments systems and tools through involvement in system design and testing; and improving business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare participations statements, leveraging a new state-of-the-art Participations system, WBD’s enterprise SAP platform, existing tools, and analytical methodologies.

  • Read and understands abstracts, legal agreements, and other related written documentation.

  • Perform first level review of statements prepared by other Analysts/Financial Analysts and provide feedback to preparers to make changes and correct errors, as needed.

  • Perform current and historical data analysis and verify that reporting is in accordance with

  • contractual agreements. The analysis work takes into consideration the windowing and release

  • patterns of film/television/other product, distribution cost trends analysis, etc.

  • Research data abnormalities using SAP and/or other line-of-business components to review underlying transactional activity.

  • Support ad-hoc and special projects, including, but not limited to presentations to management and staff, buyout calculations, etc.

  • Identify improvements and enhancements related to FCRA’s participations system and participate in system testing.

  • Attend technical and conceptual training sessions and cross-divisional forums as needed.
