As a Scheduler for oursurgery center, you will be responsible for proving and contributing to thecompany’s mission, vision, and values by scheduling patient’s surgicalprocedures and maintaining the surgery schedule.
What you will do in thisrole:
- You will obtain CPT andICD-10 diagnosis codes and other clinical information as required by thephysician’s office
- You will preparedocumentation for Notification of Non-covered Medicare Services or AdvanceBeneficiary notices to patients and notify physician’s offices about theseprocedures
- You will complete chartrequests from Medical Records and notify the Materials Manager /Nurse Managerof any physician requests or special equipment needed for upcomingsurgeries/procedures
- You will determine theduration needed for surgeries in the operating room and work with OR nurse to ensure a dailyschedule is streamlined
- You will maintain thecenter block schedule list and arrange necessary anesthesia coverage
- You will call/faxphysician’s offices to notify them of any open schedule times that may allowfor additional cases to be taken at the center

We offer a state of the art facility with the newest technology in our 4 operating room suites and 2 procedure rooms. Performing around 330 cases per month, our specialties include GYN, Podiatry, ENT, Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Vascular, and Pain Management. The New Port Richey Surgery Center at Trinity is a beautiful new facility located in an up and coming area of north Tampa not far from I-75. The facility is very large promoting future growth opportunities. The equipment is state of the art, current with the industry standards.
