Bookkeeping Job Opening in Boca Raton, FL

We are currently representing a stable and family-oriented company in Boca Raton that is looking for a bookkeeper. This group is in property management and values candidates with stable tenure, a collaborative mindset and one that does not need to be micromanaged.
The bookkeeper will support all areas of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closing, accruals, and some financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a four-year degree, at least eight years of professional experience, multi-property or intercompany experience, and fantastic tenure. Our client is interviewing immediately and is prepared to hire! Candidates will be tested on general accounting principles, as well as Microsoft Excel.
 
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Job in Boca Raton, FL include:
* Maintain accountant's receivable: deposits, monthly or quarterly charges, misc. charges, changes in memberships, closings, estoppels, etc.
* Preparation of journal entries and financial statements on monthly basis using accrual method of accounting.
* Monthly bank reconciliations.
* Investigate past due invoices and statements

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Minimum eight years of professional experience
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLookups, Pivot tables - you will be tested)
* Knowledge of general accounting procedures
