Application Developer Sr. Analyst
Looking for someone a little above Junior level - position will be 50/50 - SQL Developer and Web Admin (Managing website and portal). Would like someone proficient with Websphere.
Tableau is nice, but not a deal breaker -
They have a candidate that moved to a different role and they are hoping this role goes into CTH
Will be a remote phone interview and REMOTE is fine for this role - may have to come to office occasionally for a meeting - this would be on the rare side
Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Application Development job family. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Proficient in many types and phases of applications programming activities, but continuing to develop full competency. This position may perform systems analysis functions. Completes day-to-day Application Development tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members
Role Summary:
The position is for a SQL developer/ Web Administrator with excellent analytics skills and strong knowledge of data analysis and dimensional modeling.
The right candidate will have a passion for data and a solid background in data and/or database modeling, as well as a background in database development (TSQL). In addition to his or her technical skills, the right candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive "can-do” attitude.
Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business applications/reports using reporting and ETL tools (Microsoft SSIS//SSRS, Stored Procedures)
Management of several applications such as Websphere, Trizetto TCS Letter Server, OMS mailroom solution server and Website administration.
You will be called upon to assist in research, create proof of concepts, troubleshoot issues, conciliate data and produce results of specific analysis about Health Data.
You will work closely with the senior development staff as well as business analysts and project manager gaining exposure to all phases of the software development life cycle.

Major Duties:
- Responsible for development, assessment, monitoring and execution phases of the data analysis process.
- Website Administration
- Application management and support
- Trizetto TCS (Letter Server for Facets)
- OMS mailroom solution
- Writing Stored Procedures
- Installing, configuring and administering/managing WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- Triaging and resolving issues with WebSphere and associated technologies. Trouble shooting of WAS environment and applications (Analyze JVM logs, Trace Logs, FFDC, native logs, java core, heap dumps)
- Work with Enterprise Architecture team and development teams for with WebSphere Application server and Portal Server implementations
- Involve in ongoing research, development and testing of WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server and Security Vulnerability. This includes configuration of DMZ environment
- You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- You must be able to reprioritize and shift gears as necessary to deliver critical functionality in time to meet our customers' needs while ensuring quality
- Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner.
- Perform data analysis on complex data sets to provide information and insight to management and develop reports using Microsoft Reporting Services tools,
- Follow the established standards, patterns and process in the development life cycle.
- Not afraid to seek guidance when needed to make good decisions
- Ability to work in a team based environment required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred with a minimum of experience of five years in reporting and data analysis, or the equivalent in education and work experience
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Expert technical understanding of ETL, BI, and SQL disciplines
Strong Data Warehouse experience including Reports and Analytics.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Visual Studio 2010, 2012, and SQL Server 2012/2016, including SQL Reporting Services SSRS/SSAS.
Advanced SQL development skills
Preferred Qualifications:
