Bridger is a high-profile regulatory compliance product within LNG: a key product for our international market. Bridger product performs screening of billions of customer accounts on a monthly basis; performance and stability are the key! The environment is very fast paced, the candidate must be a very fast learner and be able to quickly adapt to the changes.

Software Engineer Intern

Position is for Intern of Software Engineering on a Bridger Development Team with focus on:

Centralized Logging, Data Analysis, Alerting, and Application Performance Monitoring.
Working with the team to ingest application logs and data from different sources into ELK Stack. Analyze data trends and configure alerting based on healthy data thresholds. Build interactive Kibana dashboards for Dev and Support teams.

Position requires a basic understanding of data aggregation, filtering, and visualization. Should be familiar with Data ETL techniques and understanding data normalization.
Experience working with Kibana, Grafana, Power BI or Tableau is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Quick learner, attention to details
• Organizational and planning skills.
  Familiarity of Agile processes is a big plus.
• Solid understanding of software development and algos, basic programming experience.
• Understanding of HTTP requests and REST API
• Understanding of JSON / XML / YML
• Basic experience with GIT source control
• Basic experience with scripting languages and SQL
• Any experience working with Ansible, Docker, CI Pipelines is a HUGE PLUS.
