ServAssure NXT team within CommScope is looking for a Sr. Staff Software Engineer specializing in Front Eng to help with the continuous development of their best-in-class solution for supervising millions of broadband cable networks; it guarantees maximum performance and availability. ServAssure NXT correlates and analyzes DOCSIS traffic and connectivity to create a unique measurement of the customer experience and service quality and availability.

Job Location: Monterrey, Mexico

  • Designing and developing client-side features that solve market problems within project schedule deadlines.
  • Be an expert & advocate of the newest technology in web based application domain.
  • Identify and establish patterns and best practices for building excellent web experiences.
  • Ensuring quality of the system through comprehensive unit testing and collaborating with quality assurance engineers to enable thorough system testing.
  • Working with product management to clarify requirements and review software design proposals to meet market needs.
  • Contributing to organization culture, disciplines, process & tools.
  • Creating work breakdown and estimates for new projects.
  • Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Proficient in English Language (written and spoken).
  • Experience developing complete Web-based UI applications.
  • Experience with UIs in large-scale distributed enterprise or hosted systems.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular framework, NodeJS, Spring, Java Spring Boot
  • Experience developing applications using Redux store
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and building UI applications using them.
  • Familiarity with Java.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter that is willing to take initiative to get things done, along with a strong ability to work with a geographically separated team
  • You Will Excite Us if you Have (Desired Experience)

  • Familiarity with D3.js is a plus
  • Exposure to Telecom / Cable network management applications and design
  • Experience working with browser based automation frameworks such as Selenium.
  • Experience with Linux, including system administration
