Job Title Senior Analyst, People Data & Analytics Overview The Senior Analyst, People Data & Analytics will be a member of the Regional People Data & Analytics team which provides data, analytics, and strategic decision support across multiple business units in regions across Mastercard. This role is dedicated to the LAC (Latin America & Caribbean) Region, however collaboration will be required with other regions operating across multiple time zones. This individual will bring experience in people analytics, the HR functional domain, and program management to enable data-driven decisions about talent at Mastercard. You will have responsibility for consulting with business leaders to understand their unique needs and provide data and insights to support decision making. Competitive candidates will be detail-oriented, execution-focused, and accomplished at driving quantifiable results within a matrix organization. Role o Partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics o Applies knowledge in quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as data visualization to surface clear and compelling narratives that inform the strategies of the Business Unit o Influences the development of actionable KPIs that drive business decisions and inform executive management and other key constituents o Provides thought leadership to convert inputs from stakeholder teams into creative, scalable solutions o Sees beyond requestors’ asks to understand the root query or challenge for which data and analytics are being sought o Defines, validates, and enforces HR data integrity in collaboration with HR systems teams o Provides program management support for performance management, talent reviews, and other key activities as warranted o Collaborates with data engineering and visualization resources to access and manipulate data, explain data requirements, and surface findings via cutting-edge visualizations and dashboards o Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data Dedicated to LAC, but additional support may be required beyond this occasionally for other Regions as part of our cross Regional support model All About You o Experience in working with organizational & workforce data o Experience providing innovative analytical solutions that have lasting impact in multiple dimensions; strategic, operational and financial o Ability to translate results of analyses into data-driven insights to ensure key messages resonate with the target audience o Ability to collaborate with peers and cross functional teams, working across multiple time zones o Creative and nimble with ability to overcome obstacles to solve challenging problems o Flexible and responsive, with ability to adapt to rapid change in direction or business priority o Openness to feedback and strong self-awareness o Ability to work within the confines of data governance and privacy standards o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation Desirable o Experience using HRIS tools (Workday preferred) o Proficiency in inferential statistics o Experience in relationship building across large scale organizations o Experience managing and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as SQL, R, or Python o Familiarity with ETL tool capabilities and utility (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica) o Experience in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, and Domo preferred) o Experience with Agile/Scrum environment preferred Education • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Management, Analytics, or a related discipline or equivalent experience Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
