Job Title Senior Analyst, Account Management Overview: We are currently looking to hire a strong candidate to join the Mastercard Direct Team, to support the development of Central America accounts. The candidate will have the opportunity to be directly responsible for an account portfolio, developing a specific strategy for each customer and the opportunity to cross sell the different Mastercard value added services products. Mastercard Direct is responsible for developing small accounts which are key to the current and future success of the company. Responsibilities • Ownership of an account portfolio to deliver against business targets for Mastercard from existing customers and new business • Influences Customer account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations • Supports project execution across all business functions including business development, advertising, marketing and product management • Provides insight in the analysis of customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis • Participates in business conversations with key decision makers internally and externally • Acts as a project manager and key end-to-end resource lead on small to mid-sized projects • Partners with the local sales teams, internal partners and key stakeholders to provide support to sales in a region • Develops and maintains strong working relationships, working closely with cross-functional partners within the regions Experiences • Experience in financial services, cards, payments, or related fields. Knowledge of Issuing/working with financial institutions will be an advantage • Proven ability to both be proactive as well as manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment resulting in high-quality output • Proven to be a strong team player whilst also being able to work independently • Consistently delivered thoughtful market and business analysis for customer accounts and internal stakeholders • Shown ability to build and maintain a strong internal network • Strong aptitude to identify issues before they develop into problems; proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners/ internal stakeholders • Demonstrate a proactive interest in the evolution of the payments industry Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
