Registered Nurse Pre Op - Loxahatchee

: The Pre Op Staff Nurse is a registered nurse who is responsible to provide safe effective nursing care to all surgery patients utilizing the nursing process. The registered nurse also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care while in the operating room. Weekday nights and weekend call required. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

Current State of Florida RN License, or

Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

Must have previous Pre Op RN experience

Two or more years of experience as a Pre Op or OR RN preferred

Knowledge of AORN standards and practice required

Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Current CNOR certification preferred.
