The position’s main responsibilities of the job are to lead the closing team to ensure that the credit line parameters are correctly set up in the system, monitor the portfolio in order to detect at an early stage the accounts that could face payment issues so that preemptive action is taken to avoid credit losses. Finally, oversee the workout (troubled accounts) accounts to minimize losses for the company that operates in a fast paced and evolving vehicle management industry. Are you: A leader capable of coach the assigned team so that care is taken to detect and minimize losses in a credit / lease portfolio? Detail oriented so that credit conditions are properly set up and also able to detect changes in a credit portfolio? Interested in pursuing a career in financial analysis / credit / workout? Able to detect the credits that might face difficulties on an early stage and provide feedback to Underwriting? Capable to detect the current skills and areas of opportunities of team members and assign projects so team members can apply strong skills while they develop areas of opportunities? Can communicate clearly and synthesize information in an efficient and clear manner? Self starter, organized and with analytical skills and interest on vehicle fleets? As a Sr Portfolio Management, will be responsible for (i) the correct set up of credit conditions in the system, (ii) truck closing efficiency (iii) monitor the portfolio (iv) take preemptive action on deteriorating customers to mitigate losses. A Day in the Life Ensure that both sides of team are making progress on their closing set up and portfolio monitoring. Assign time to detect and coach each member’s areas of opportunities. Detect aspects that can be automated or enhanced in the Portfolio monitoring function, to achieve better results Calculate the credit loss reserves periodically, based on the portfolio’s performance For workout (troubled accounts) accounts: Analyze customer’s financial health analysis, understand and question projected financial statements and define strategies to either (i) restructure transactions, (ii) negotiate collecting the vehicles under financing and negotiate the remaining payment with customer or (iii) participate with legal to recover the financing exposure. Lead ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency in Portfolio Management Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economy, Business administration, or careers with a strong analytical skillset. MINIMUM 10 years of credit analysis experience in financial institutions. All credit approvals should be done in English so advanced English – 100% written and spoken is a must. Advanced Excel skills are a plus. Availability to travel.
