Brandon Regional Hospital is located in the Tampa Bayarea along Florida's Gulf Coast. TheHospital is a 438-bed acute care facility offering a number of specialtyservices including the Heart & Vascular Center, where the latest incardiovascular surgery and minimally invasive techniques are performed, TheBehavioral Health Center, The Women's Center, which includes our Baby Suitesand 22 bed neonatal intensive care unit, The Reflux Center and a designatedBariatric Center of Excellence.

The hours needed for this position are 12:00pm - 12:00am.
- Assists with patient care, in accordance with scope of practice, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Accurately documents the administration of care in the patient record in a timely manner
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for providing patient care under the direct supervision of the physician and/or RN/Charge RN in accordance with physicians' orders, and established policy and procedure.
- Facilitates patient transfer to floors, and patient flow.
- Communicates and interacts with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Participates in the discharge planning process for all assigned patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved paramedic program or completion of emergency technician program; and/or equivalent.
- 6-12 months related experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association
