Facility Description:

Kendall Regional Medical Center is a 417-bed, full-service, acute hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive care in the community including trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with two full service free-standing ER facilities, one in Doral and the other at The Palms Town & Country.


Located in west Miami-Dade County, Kendall Regional Medical Center has received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Overall Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades. Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager provides totalnutritional care as a member of the health care team.  The ClinicalDietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implementsnutritional care plans; communicates information pertinent to the nutritionalcare of the patient through written records systems.  Provides highquality care to patients.  Develops and maintains regular and therapeuticmeals/menus.  Provides nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric,adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families and/or significantother.  Participates in the supervision of the Nutrition ServicesPersonnel. The Clinical Dietitian strives daily to fulfill the objectives ofthe Food and Nutrition Services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Graduate Dietitian who will take and pass RD exam within 1 yr of start date (condition of employment).

  • At least 1 year of experience preferred
