Cost Accountant (Hermetic Motor) - Tampico

Key position in charge of controlling the proper financial flow of all direct material in the ERP system. Capable to identify, resolve and/or explain any significant variances that could impact P&L. Assign a cost to new part numbers in the ERP system. Responsibilities Prepare, review and analyze monthly material variance reports and various account reconciliations Provide explanations for changes in variances and present to management Identify problems in the flow of inventory and put controls in place to correct them. An example would be daily monitoring of purchase orders with no cost. Prepare required journal entries for monthly closings Supervise periodic audits of inventory controls Requirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance 2-3 years of experience in Accounting and/or related financial position MS Office Excel, proficient Must be Bilingual (speak English).
