Key Job Responsibilities: ?Create a luxury beauty shopping experience for all clients Listen to your client and recommend the best products for their needs Be a YSL Beauté makeup, skincare and fragrance expert, while staying current on the latest beauty trends Demonstrate products on clients and make recommendations Attain or exceed both personal and team retail sales objectives Be comfortable recruiting new clients to the brand Develop strong relationships with established clients with regular communication, including invites to promotional events Attend a National and Regional Beauty Summit, which includes a review of pillar products and presentations of new products. Training, Learning and Development:All Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Consultants are enrolled in a three-day brand training (luxury service, makeup, skincare and fragrance) before starting position. The career path of the YSL Beauty Consultant has the potential for retail management or advanced makeup artistry positions, as well as corporate job opportunities. Job Qualifications: Must have a high school degree and be 18 years or older. Retail cosmetic/fragrance sales or makeup artistry experience preferred, but not required. Assist with cleaning, re-stocking and moving boxes as part of team. Ability to work a flexible schedule, possibly including nights, weekends and/or holidays (dependent on staffing needs.) The position is employed by one of our retail partners on behalf of the YSL Beauté brand. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills You are comfortable performing skin care services on customers’ faces (as necessary and when dictated by customer and business needs) after being trained on all proper protocols to do so Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse environment.
